At our school, we believe that every child has a voice and the potential to make a positive difference. Pupil leadership is an important part of our school community, providing children with opportunities to develop confidence, responsibility, teamwork and leadership skills, whilst living out our Catholic values.
Through a range of pupil leadership roles, our children are encouraged to take an active part in school life, serve others and make a meaningful contribution to our school community and the wider world.
School Council - Every Voice Matters
Our elected School Council gives pupils the opportunity to share their ideas, express their views and help shape the future of our school. Representatives meet regularly to discuss important issues, celebrate what is working well and identify ways to make our school even better.
Our School Council is also supporting our journey towards achieving the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Award, helping to ensure that children's rights are understood, respected and celebrated throughout our school community.
Mission Ambassadors - Living Our Faith in Action
Our Mission Ambassadors play a special role in helping us live out our Catholic mission and respond to our call to serve.
They lead and inspire our school community through prayer, liturgy, charitable fundraising and special events, encouraging everyone to put their faith into action. Through their leadership, they remind us of the importance of kindness, compassion, generosity and service to others.
Our Mission Ambassadors help us to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, making a positive difference through the choices we make and the actions we take each day.
Eco Warriors - Caring for God's Creation
Our dedicated Eco Warriors are passionate about protecting our school environment and caring for God's wonderful world.
They lead environmental initiatives, encourage sustainable choices and inspire our school community to take responsibility for looking after our planet.
We are incredibly proud that our Eco Warriors have recently achieved the prestigious Eco-Schools Green Flag Award, recognising their hard work, enthusiasm and commitment to protecting our environment.
Through their actions, they remind us that we all have a responsibility to be good stewards of God's creation.
Sports Councillors - Inspiring Active Lives
Our Sports Councillors are enthusiastic ambassadors for sport, physical activity and healthy lifestyles across our school.
They help promote sporting opportunities, encourage participation in physical activities and support school sporting events and initiatives. They champion teamwork, determination, fairness and good sportsmanship, inspiring others to get involved, stay active and enjoy sport.
Year 6 Buddies - Leading with Kindness
Our Year 6 Buddies play an important role in helping our youngest children feel happy, safe and welcome as they begin their school journey.
By supporting our Reception children, they provide friendship, encouragement and reassurance, helping them settle into school life and develop confidence.
This special responsibility allows our oldest pupils to demonstrate care, patience and compassion, setting a wonderful example for others to follow.
Play Leaders - Making Playtimes Happy and Inclusive
Our Play Leaders help make lunchtimes fun, active and inclusive for everyone.
They organise and lead games, encourage children to join in and help younger pupils develop friendships and confidence through play.
By promoting kindness, cooperation and teamwork, our Play Leaders help ensure that lunchtime is a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
Leading, Serving and Making a Difference
Pupil leadership is about much more than having a special role or responsibility. It is about using our gifts and talents to serve others, being a voice for positive change and living out our Catholic mission every day.
We are incredibly proud of all our pupil leaders, who demonstrate that, no matter how young we are, we can all make a difference.
