Nursery Sessions
Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club provides children with a safe and secure environment before the school day begins. We provide a choice of cereals and toast and free play throughout the nursery setting.
Morning and afternoon nursery sessions
Children learn through play and the nursery environment provides a safe and stimulating place to do this. During these sessions, children will be invited to do targeted learning work to support them in their learning and development. Each session has circle time within it to provide children with targeted learning activities based on their learning and development needs. After this is playtime in the playground to use our gross motor skills by running, climbing and swinging, we might even have a game of ‘What’s the Time Mr Wolf’ always a favourite of the children. After outside play it is story and then lunch or going home time. Within the session we provide a snack, that can be ordered with us or brought from home.
Lunch
Children eat in the school hall with the rest of the KS1 children. They can have a healthy packed lunch from home or you can order a school lunch from the school kitchen for £1.70. Children line up to be served and choose what they would like, good practice ready for school.
After school club
The after school club provides a relaxed home from home session for the children. We are joined by the reception children to enjoy various activities or just to relax after a hard day of learning. A snack is provided for children during the session.
