Our Archdiocese is appealing for donations for the Ukraine Appeal. Lent is a time when we try to think of others who are far less fortunate, and pledge to do something to help them. We feel that it would be very appropriate to support the Ukraine Appeal and help those families who are in, or trying to escape, their war-torn land.
Attached to this event is a list of the items that would be very useful to the appeal: first aid kits, bandages, blankets, toiletries etc. If you can possibly donate, there will be a collection point in every year group across the school, where the children can deposit their donations.
We will continue to collect donations in school until Wednesday 23rd March, when I will deliver them to a local collection point ready for shipment to the Ukraine on the following Sunday.
