Business Support Officer
The Governors of St Anne’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a Business Support Officer (Grade 5) to join our friendly and dedicated school team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, organised and professional individual to work in a busy school office and play a key role in supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school.
The Role:
Working under the supervision of the School Business Manager and the Headteacher the successful candidate will provide a wide range of administrative and clerical support services. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to respond professionally to parents, pupils, staff, external agencies and visitors.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Act as the first point of contact for parents and visitors to the school
- Responding to enquiries and providing advice and guidance to pupils, parents, and staff.
- Supporting the day‑to‑day administration of a busy primary school office, including telephone and reception duties
- Preparing written communications for parents and pupils and maintaining records of replies received.
- Maintaining, updating, and extracting information from school systems and databases
