At St Anne's Catholic Primary School, personal development is at the heart of our mission to educate the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Rooted in Catholic values and inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ, we nurture each student’s growth as a confident, compassionate, and responsible individual.

Guided by Faith and Values

We believe that every child is created in the image of God, with unique gifts and a purposeful role in the world. Our curriculum is designed to help students discover their God-given potential, deepen their understanding of Catholic social teaching, and grow in character and virtue.

A Holistic Approach

Through a rich blend of academic learning, pastoral care, and community engagement, we support students in:

  • Building self-esteem and resilience

  • Developing leadership, teamwork, and communication skills

  • Understanding emotional wellbeing and mental health

  • Cultivating respect for others and appreciation of diversity

  • Making informed, ethical choices guided by Gospel values

Living Out the Gospel

Our Catholic ethos shapes daily school life—from prayer and liturgy to service and stewardship. Students are encouraged to put their faith into action through charitable work, social justice initiatives, and active participation in their parish and wider community.

Preparing for Life Beyond School

Personal development at St Anne's prepares students not only for academic success, but for life. Whether progressing to further education, employment, or vocational paths, our young people leave us with the confidence to lead, the compassion to serve, and the moral grounding to make a positive difference in the world.

Our Mission Ambassadors group take the lead on supporting classes with participating in their own Personal Development.
